Imagery in a Selected Poem Paragraph

In the story "The Haunted Palace" by Edugar Allan Poe I visualized a giant castle with ghost and trapped doors. Also imagined Scooby-Doo and the gang there solving a mystery. I also imagined lightening and wolfs houling to the moon.

Dream House Paragraph with Imagery

If I could describe my dream house it would look like a mansion with a village surrounding it. The main building(mansion)would have all my brothers and sisters, also it would have a big room just for my parents. The outside of my house would be black with pictures of all my favorite black people on it. The inside would be different colors all the time. Most likely I will change it when the season changes.I would have over 20 rooms and 21 bathrooms. I will have 4 kitchens and 5 game rooms.Now my outside villages would have the rest of my family in them and each house would be three stories. I would let them customize the4 house any way they please.My back yard would be 100 acres and all the house 10. Finally I would have the biggest building in the middle of all the town and it would be the the dinner room table for special occasions, like when family gets together and has a big feast.

Third Quarter Goals Reflection

Earlier this quarter I made my goals to be a A-B student. So far I'm doing good. I have a B in most of my classes. As of now I have one C that I'm working on. I have been turning in all my work and doing good on all of my test. My teachers have been complimenting me on my success. Last year I had four F's and two D's because of me not trying. This year when I brought them up teachers were amazed of how I brought them up so easy. I told them that I was tired of being another statistic and I wanted to make a change. So this year I'm going to do my best to get a 4.0 and become a successful young African American.

Poetry Experience Paragraph

I don't have much experience with poetry as I would want, but I do know enough. I know rap is a type of poetry also soliloquy. I know that not all poetry has to ryme. Also there are certain poetry that requires a certain amount of words like a haiku.

In America there are people who are loyal to bad presidents such as George Bush. Also he is like a Jew in a concentration camp who is about to die but thinking he is about to take a shower. Also he is like Hansel and Gretel. They thought some random lady was going to cook them food, but little did they know that she was going to cook them and eat them.
