The Greatest High School Accomplishment

One of my greatest accomplishment is not getting into any fights. When I was younger I use to get in many fights at school and get suspended or even exspelled. Now I don't even get in many arguments. I avoid them by saying a funny comment and walking away. I think my mom would be proud of me. My next accomplishment will be getting over a 2.5 average. Once I accomplish that I will be set to go to college to get some knowledge. I hope I will complete my goal next year.

End of Year Reflection-Greatest High School Obstacle

The biggest obstacle for me in the last two years is probably teachers. All me teachers have different rules and regulations. So if I get used one teacher and act that way in another class I get in trouble. For some people it's easy for them to know how to behave with each teacher. Well I'm not one of those students. I have trouble with it and I get kicked out a lot because of it.

What I learned in English 10 Third Quarter

I learned about poetry, Primary and Secondary source, Ambiguity, Symbolic Allegory and Irony. I learned that not all poetry rymes and can have different stanza's such as a haiku. I learned that a primary source comes from a person who was in or watching the situation. Then I learned that secondary source is a person who heard from either a primary source or read it in a book and told you about it. I learned that ambiguity is something that is unclear such as an ivestigation. Also I was taught that allegory is something that has a symbolic narrative. Finally I learned about Irony which is the opposite of what is said or expected. I plan to use all this knowledge to better myself in life thanks to my teacher Miss Priester.

Enlist Paragraph

I would enlist into the military. I want to go to the Marines because my granddad and my father were in the Marines. I was always interested in Marines because my dad always said they were the best. I want to my family proud and also traveling is fun. So I am going to get enlisted and become a Marine and I will go around making the world safer one bullet at a time. The after twenty years of making peace I will retire and relax in my house in Liberia.

Sophomore Paragraph

From my perspective it doesn't mean anything to be a sophmore. It doesn't make a person better and doesn't make any body worse. really it is a name for a person who passed everything lower than that grade. School is almost like a ladder. You have to climb up one step at a time, but you can stepdown or stay at the same place if your not climbing properly.

Third Quarter Goals Reflection

Earlier this quarter I made my goals to be a A-B student. So far I'm doing good. I have a B in most of my classes. As of now I have one C that I'm working on. I have been turning in all my work and doing good on all of my test. My teachers have been complimenting me on my success. Last year I had four F's and two D's because of me not trying. This year when I brought them up teachers were amazed of how I brought them up so easy. I told them that I was tired of being another statistic and I wanted to make a change. So this year I'm going to do my best to get a 4.0 and become a successful young African American.

What I learned in 9th and 10th grade English

I’ve learned a lot in my little time at San Pasqual. Learned about compare and contrast, irony and ambiguity. Also I have improved my typing skills and grammar. At first I wasn’t use to the idea of having a blog but over time I got acquainted with it. I learned how to post blogs and how to add stuff to blogs. Also I made a delicious account which was a big help in keeping my favorite websites in order.

"Typhoid Fever" Present Tense Childhood Memory

I am seven years old and my name is Kyrhee. I went to school today and was having a bad time. The lunch line was too long, then I was playing on the play ground and got hit with a basketball in front of everyone. They started laughing at me. I know it was not on purpose but it was still not nice. Then I went to class and got in trouble for slapping a girl on the butt. My teacher pinned a note to my shirt with a message to my mommy. When I got home she was sleeping. I ripped it off and threw it away. Later that day the school called and my mommy found out what happened. Then she asked me why did I do it. I told her I didn't know. Then I got a woopen.
